For this project, I intervene directly in the exhibition space by getting rid of the room's curtains. How can we highlight the absence of an object, or an artist's intervention in a space unknown to the public? Appropriating the form of the curtain then became a pretext for making an in situ sculpture: the room's sole curtain subverts its supposed functionality. The aluminum, torn in places, lets light through, reveals abstract patterns, and questions the fine boundary between painting and sculpture in this project.
