These body segments depict the invisible interior, our viscera, our flesh. My initial approach was to freeze a garment to present it as a sculpture. After several layers and experimentations with various materials (fabric stiffener, glue, clay, and finally latex), these garments made solely of fabric then evolved into a mass of materials, metamorphosing into forms existing in their own right. Like a jacket turned inside out, what is invisible to us then becomes visible to all. And like the seams and fabric of this jacket turned inside out, what is essential and what we seek to hide is then brought to light.
